Meeting Dates:

We meet Wednesdays at 8:15AM on the following dates:

  • January 14 and 28
  • February 11 and 25
  • March 11 and 25
  • April 8
  • May 6

About:

The Yoga Club provides students with a fun and relaxing way to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Through simple poses, breathing exercises, and guided relaxation, students learn healthy strategies to manage stress, improve focus, and build confidence. The club offers a supportive and welcoming environment where students can move at their own pace while developing lifelong wellness habits

Mission:

The mission of the Yoga Club is to help students relax, move, and feel their best by practicing yoga, breathing, and mindfulness in a positive and supportive environment.

Description of Activities:

  • gentle yoga poses and flow routines 

  • breathing exercises

  • guided relaxation

  • mindfulness strategies

  • learning healthy habits for the mind and body
     

Student Requirements:

Permission Slip for Yoga Club

Be present in club meetings, open minded, respecting yourself and others, respecting your space and others’ space, and have fun!

Students will need to bring their own yoga mats and wear comfortable clothing and socks.  Mats can be stored at the school (be sure to label them). The sponsors will offer the option of parents being able to purchase needed items for the club.
