VEX Robotics Details
Mission:
The mission of the robotics team is to provide students with the opportunity to explore, create, and innovate using robotics technology as a means to prepare them for college and career within the aspirations of a future full of opportunities and within the GCPS and OMS portrait of a graduate.
Meeting Dates:
Robotics Club will be each Thursday to engage with our VEX robots in learning sessions. There are no competition events associated with the robotics club.
Robotics Club Days: Thursdays 8:15 - 8:55 a.m. (Please see the dates listed, it might not be every Thursday)
Competition Team Days: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:15 - 8:50 a.m.
VEX Robotics Competition Teams:
Regular attendance at weekly practices, and a commitment by parent(s) to attend weekend competitions at several locations with their student is required. No student drop-offs at events is allowed. There is a team fee which will be collected via mypaymentsplus.
