Jr. Beta Club

Mission:

To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

Description of Activities:

The membership of this organization consists of students in the 8th grade based on creditable achievement during their 7th grade school year. To qualify for membership, a 90% or higher must be earned in all subjects, both semesters. Students will receive an invitation to join OMS Jr. Beta Club in the fall of their 8th grade year.  Planned activities include large group service projects and a requirement of 5 hours of individual service for Osborne Middle School and community.  In addition, members will participate in leadership presentations led by MCHS student leaders throughout the year.
