Beautification Club

Mission:

The Mission of the OMS Beautification Club is to create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable learning environment by enhancing our school's spaces. Through thoughtful design and sustainable practices, we strive to foster a positive atmosphere where students feel inspired and connected, while also promoting environmental consciousness throughout the school. Together, we aim to make OMS a place where every student can thrive.

Description of Activities:

The OMS Beautification Club engages in a variety of hands-on activities to improve our school environment. Members will start and maintain a community garden, collect and manage recycling efforts across the school, and collaborate on designing and creating inviting spaces that enhance the learning atmosphere. Additionally, the club will be responsible for curating and caring for the school’s floral arrangements, ensuring the campus remains vibrant and welcoming year-round. Through these efforts, we work together to create a positive, sustainable space for all students.

Student Requirements:

To ensure a successful and committed team, members of the OMS Beautification Club must maintain a strong academic standing, passing at least 5 out of 6 classes at all times. Students are also required to have no more than 1 minor infraction and no major infractions during the school year. Additionally, two teacher recommendations are needed to demonstrate reliability and responsibility. Given the level of responsibility involved, we seek dedicated and dependable members who are ready to contribute positively to the club and school community.

Cost:

$35 - this will cover a club t-shirt, Holiday party and supplies needed for the projects, there will be a fundraiser for the club, all members are required to participate.
