Cross Country
Mission:
Osborne Middle's Cross Country Program's Mission is to provide every participating runner the tools and opportunities to learn and develop as runners, athletes, and students in a safe, competitive, and challenging environment.
Eligibility:
Only academically eligible 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are allowed to participate in practices and Saturday Meets. Academic eligibility is determined on the first day of the semester and is based on students having passed five out of six courses the previous semester. All students must also have an up to date physical in RankOne.
Girls & Boys Cross Country
Description of Activities:
Cross Country is a no-cut sport, so there will be no formal tryouts. If your child is interested in running cross country, please make sure that your student has a current physical on file in Rank One. All students must have a physical on file in Rank One in order to participate in cross country. Please click on the Rank One Information document for instructions on how to set up and upload physical documents and sign documents. The physical needs to be uploaded by 08/05/2024.
The fees for Osborne Cross Country will be $100. Each week, students will have practice on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. The first day of cross country practice will be August 8th from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
