Cheerleading

Mission:

To allow selected 6th, 7th, and 8th graders the opportunity to develop team work and cheerleading skills while promoting school spirit. It is expected that OMS cheerleaders will be excellent role models for their peers.

Description of Activities:

Cheerleaders are selected through a one-week tryout process. Tryouts for the 2025-2026 Cheer Team are April 14th through April 17th, 4:30 PM-6:00 PM. Please note that parents should set up a Rank One account and complete all forms for their athlete prior to tryouts.

We practice before school and attend all OMS basketball games. Practice times for 2025-2026 are TBD.

Cheerleading at Mill Creek HS:

Any current 8th graders interested in cheering for MCHS for 2026-2027 should refer to the Tryout Info 2026 document. Please note that this information is for cheerleading at Mill Creek HS and not at OMS.
